He was a one-time MVP in the PBL but when he came to the team in 2004, he did not get the exposure he wanted as he had to give way to a more celebrated rookie named James Yap. Simon, however, had his moments of brilliance, lifting the Giants ina couple of important games.

The 6-1 shooting guard appeared in only 28 games and logged just 9.6 minutes per game but still averaged 4.4 points, quite high for a player whose exposure was not that extensive. But Simon has proven in the past that he can deliver the goods whenever given the opportunity.
