A knee injury kept him out the whole first conference last season but came back with a vengeance in the All-Filipino tournament where he played quality minutes for the Giants.
The 34-year-old forward appeared in 27 games in the Philippine Cup and surprisingly had 10 starts. He averaged 3.9 points, his lowest in 12 years with the team, and 3.8 boards. Though he is no longer that strong and quick as he used to be, the former Santo Tomas standout will remain a key component in the All-Filipino title-retention bid of Purefoods.
