In October 2006, he was traded to the San Miguel Beermen in a three-way trade involving Ginebra and Red Bull Barako. In May 2007 he was traded for center Enrico Villanueva, to Red Bull Barako, but ended up going to the Purefoods Tender Juicy Giants for Don Camaso, without playing a game for Red Bull, just two days later.
